I think I've been looking at too many of my mom's art books/magazines. :eye::eye:

I think looking at art magazines/books is never too much. I will even dare say that the Fractals Gallery would benefit enormously if we studied contemporary art and visited museums and art galleries much more.
I like this fractal for its abstract layout and the study of your "pictoric" surface. It is balanced and yet dynamic, the different shapes (squares, round and lineal) interplay well with each other and it goes beyond the usual decorative intention behind fractals. You worked on an idea, a concept, and this fractal belongs to Conceptual Art, a welcome trend in our craft.
In my opinion, it would be even better if the colours were toned down a bit. Your work would then distance itself even more from the "catchy" colourful works that plague our Gallery. There are powerful reasons behind the sober, minimal tendencies in Contemporary Art, reasons directly related to our society's place in history and the world.
Nevertheless, this is a fine example of a modern fractal, a work of art in consonance with contemporary society's way of thinking.
