This is so strange: the background looks like a rainy garden seen through fogged glass, where the rain and distance flatten everything and blur the images...sort of like a paper cutout. The large flower, on the other hand, while greyed and seemingly rain-soaked, is also clear and realistic and 3D...it even has a shadow. It's like a combination of real and surreal at once. Or...something.

Whatever it is, I like this very much.
